The first flight operations from Belgaum (Karnataka) to Surat (Gujarat) to Kishangarh (Ajmer) were flagged off today under the RCS-UDAN of the Government of India. The officials of the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) and Airport Authority of India (AAI) were present at the inauguration. The launch of the flight operations on the Surat-Kishangarh-Belgaum route aligns with the government’s objective to provide air connectivity with metros to the Tier-2 & Tier-3 cities of the country under UDAN.

It is providing free food to the needy at large scale.SGF has set up three community kitchens in the Kolhapur region of Maharashtra, where it is providing free and nutritious food to approximately 2100 needy people daily. One of the officials associated with SGF says: “We will continue to do so till 3rd May 2020, the time till the lockdown remains so that no poor person can suffer due to hunger in this crisis.” These kitchens’ whole setup, raw materials, chefs, helpers, and volunteers are managed & funded by SGF completely.

On 16th March 2020, Star Air wrote history by becoming the India's first airline to start direct flight services between Indore (Madhya Pradesh) and Kishangarh (Ajmer – Rajasthan) under the popular RCS-UDAN scheme. the airline scheduled a few mega launch events at both Indore and Kishangarh (Ajmer) airports, where scores of high-profile dignitaries had come.
