  • SGI Salutes The Nation On Independence Day

    Sanjay Ghodawat Group of Institutions campus was abuzz with patriotic fever on the 70th Independence Day celebrations held at the SGI stadium on 15th August 2016.
    The SG International School took charge of the celebrations headed by the Principal Mrs. Mohanty and her team of teaching & non-teaching staff. At first, the Chairman hoisted tri-color of the Nation, and then the dignitaries took the guard of honor as the students from SG International School performed a marchpast. The parents, staff, and students applauded the different tableaus depicting the theme of 'Make in India' presented by the students of the school. There were various dance performances, musical harmony, and more by the students that were thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated. The Chairman, along with wishes, said that the Nation has progressed, and there is still much to do ahead, so we should not rest on our laurels. During this program the Inauguration of the SG Administrative Service for training students for competitive exams like UPSC, MPSC was inaugurated.

  • SGI And ISTE To Host 1st International Conference At Dubai In October 2016

    The 1st International Conference through the Sanjay Ghodawat Group of Institutions will be held in the month of October on 18th & 19th at Dubai this year. The International Conference will focus on the theme, “Sustainable Growth through Innovations in Management & Technology.” Speakers & resource personnel from Abroad as well as India are being roped in to address the participants on the theme.
    Indian Society for Technical Education will partner with Sanjay Ghodawat Group of Institutions in hosting the Conference in Dubai. The International Conference will have sub-themes on Management that will include Strategic Management and Service Management and also Technology which will include Make in India and Internet of Things. The MBA department of SGI including the Director, Dr. Raikar, the Dean, Dr. Mrs Jayakumari with the staff of MBA and Engineering have initiated the idea of the conference. The conference will be held in a 4 star hotel at Dubai and after the 2 days of conference the participants can also avail the facilities of sight-seeing at Dubai for the next 3 days till 22nd October, 2016.

  • SGI Retains 44th Rank Among Top Private Engineering Institutes In The Nation

    The recently NBA accredited and NAAC 'A' grade accredited institute, Sanjay Ghodawat Group of Institutions retained its 44th Rank among the top Private Engineering Institutes of the Nation and moved up its ranking to 86 from 94 in the Overall Ranking of Top 150 Engineering Institutes of the Nation.
    The Chairman of SGI, Sanjay D. Ghodawat congratulated the Trustee, Mr. Vinayak Bhosale, the Director, Dr. V A Raikar and the staff & students of SGI for the recognition through one of the top dailies of the Nation. He encouraged all to keep up the up-gradation of the Institute in all respect of Academics, training of staff, infrastructure etc.
    SGI is a seven-year-old institute that has time and again proved its mettle in the field of education. In a span of 7 years there are already 11,000 students under its aegis studying from Kindergarten to Post Graduation level. The institute has been nationally recognized through the authentic accreditation bodies like NAAC and NBA. It has bagged awards for various projects and activities nationally and internationally. This ranking again gives a stamp of authentication on its quality education policies and practices.

  • Sanjay Ghodawat Foundation Felicitates Rio Olympians Sakshi Malik & PV Sindhu

    The two Rio Olympian medalists for India Sakshi Malik who won bronze in 58 Kg Women's wrestling & PV Sindhu who won Silver Medal in Women's Badminton have indeed made our Nation proud. To honour their achievements, the Sanjay Ghodawat Foundation along with Sanjay Ghodawat Sports Academy has announced a cash prize of Rs. 5 lakh each.
    The Chairman of the Sanjay Ghodawat Group, Mr. Sanjay Ghodawat recently announced the news of the cash prize to be awarded to both the Indian women players and Olympian medalists. Sanjay Ghodawat Foundation is a Non-Profit Organization that is into rural development, youth and women empowerment, infant health programs, sanitation, water harvesting, child education etc. It is formed with the noble cause to enhance the lives of the underprivileged in the society.
    Sanjay Ghodawat Sports Academy has been inaugurated last year at the Sanjay Ghodawat Institutes. It has tied up with India on Track Sports Academy and will feature coaches & trainers from popular Sports Academy viz. Arsenal FC for Soccer training, Prakash Padukone Academy for Badminton, NBA for Basket Ball etc. The Sports Academy has been opened for all the sports aspirants in the region. Best Infrastructure facilities, sports facilities will be provided. One of the Chairman of SG Group, Sanjay Ghodawat's dream is to see some sports personality rise from the SG Sports Academy to make our Nation proud at the upcoming Olympics and on global front.
    Chairman, Sanjay Ghodawat while speaking of the achievement of the two women Sakshi Malik and PV Sindhu at Rio Olympics said that their achievement should encourage us all to look at girl child in a better perspective. Evils like discrimination, girl child abortion etc. should be completely eradicated. Women should be allowed to breathe freely and work and play with men shoulder to shoulder so that their hidden potential will come forth that will ultimately benefit our society, nation and the world. The news of the cash prize from Sanjay Ghodawat Foundation has been welcomed from all corners.

  • HoReCa Meet At Kolhapur

    The hotel, restaurant and catering sector (HoReCa) is an important service sector in any food industry and has grown strongly in recent years. Considering this, GCPL had organized a meet and greet event for the HORECA Panel, Hotel Owners and GCPL Members. The Sole Agenda of this event was to activate this vertical for GCPL.
    Mr. Shrenik Ghodawat congratulated the Management and staff of GCPL on organizing this event. He added “This is our first initiative towards HORECA and with this, we have got at par response in gathering the prospective people. We are looking forward to build our association with them for the long term and serve them well.”

  • On Ground Retail Activation of Frustar – GCPL

    One of the most critical manifestations of any brand is its look at the retail. The brand is simply the impression people have of you. Architecture and interior design are utterly critical in forming this impression, dictating the identity of the brand that is immersive, tangible and multi-sensory.
    These brand spaces can deeply impact and engage with our basic human nature, creating emotional responses, and rational thought patterns that influence customer behavior for better or worse. As a team, our approach at GCPL is to help our brand create a space that have the desired impact on our target audiences and to root the design process in our research and insight, strategy development & holistic customer experience design methodologies. And this time we tried our hands-on retail activation for Frustar.
    Retail activations via interiors that supported truly rewarding encounters key commercial asset and we created behavior led retail strategy that had surely impact ed the commerce of customer experience. The activity started on 20th of August at three different locations (Kolhapur, Sangali, Ichalkaran ji, Jaysi gnpur, Kagal Highway and Miraj) Mr. Shrenik Ghodawat said “One must consider a lot of data when determining how to engage with customers. But the volume of data you have access to do mean much if you aren't able to do anything with it. One of the easiest ways to tune out the white noise is to focus on the customers. We at GCPL always tray a mix of it and by finding fresh, creative ways to engage, the delight of our customers”.

  • Sanjay Ghodawat Foundation – A CSR Initiative

    SGF is all set to roll out few projects in their Regional Area. From the day of commencement SGF has done a rigours need assessment. A community needs assessment is a systematic process for identifying salient socio-political community issues, such as poverty, crime, health, education or unemployment. These are broad examples of topics that a needs assessment may identify as issues in a community with gaps between what is and what should be.
    “Effective corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs and initiatives generate both a societal benefit, and a business benefit, allowing for sustainable and credible corporate philanthropy. "The concept of context-focused giving discusses how corporate philanthropy and business strategy can be combined by identifying contextual conditions most important to a company's strategy, growth and operations and developing a giving program that improves the nature of this context, creating social and economic benefits” said Salloni S Ghodawat (Member SGF).

    The last quarter have experienced a good visibility drive for GCPL as there were few back to back mega expos & GCPL did participate in them. Knowing the current market trends and the innovations GCPL has always strived hard to stand by the latest practices.
